$AMFN Just thinking 🤔 wow, a stock is gonna create a paradigm shift in my life and the lives of the people that’s connected to me. And no it’s not $GOOGL or $NVDA and no not even $SPY or $VOO . Just American Fusion and the Texatron that’s gonna create generational change and generational wealth for me and you. Know what you hold. The future is brighter than you even realize.
View on StockTwits ↗Polymarket right now, on the rate decision tomorrow. Raise (25 bps): 88% Hold: 12% Cut: ~0% Raising would be the right thing to do. Warsh will gain mega-respect from me by defying Trump. Better not flake out. $VOO $QQQ $SMH
View on StockTwits ↗$VOO gas and especially diesel prices not likely to come down significantly in the short term based off of what I am seeing. Don't see rate cuts influencing that. The pain is here. Possible liquidity crunch and then another round of painful inflation is my best guess. Commodities likely to rule when people figure out that cost of replacement will far exceed current costs. Hopefully I will be a good steward of my cash position. This is tough to navigate and you can get burned easily if you have too much or too little cash

View on StockTwits ↗Wells Fargo is skeptical the stock market can continue marching much higher from current levels. Strategist Ohsung Kwon trimmed his year-end S&P 500 target to 7,700 from 7,950. That implies just 1% upside from Monday’s close of 7,619.98. ″[We] believe we’re entering late innings of the cycle, arguing for multiple compression,” Kwon wrote in a note Monday. “We see 5-10% downside risk” before the S&P 500 reaches his new target, he added. A 5% decline would take the benchmark index to 7,239, a level it hasn’t traded at since June. $QQQ $VOO

View on StockTwits ↗The market is pricing in a 90% likelihood that the federal funds rate will rise a quarter point following the central bank’s meeting on Wednesday, according to the CME FedWatch Tool. And should inflation fail to fall back toward the Fed’s 2% annual target — the consumer price index was up 3.4% over the 12 months ending in August, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics — interest rates could remain elevated or even head higher, economic experts say. Here’s what market experts say higher rates could mean for your portfolio. Higher rates mean higher yields on bonds If you’re interested in investing in bonds for income, higher interest rates may be welcome news, says Gillum. “We think there is a lot of value in the fixed income market for those savers and investors that rely on a steady income,” he says. “You’re getting yields [on some bonds] that are in the 5% to 6% range, which 10 years ago would have been unheard of.” $SPY $TNX $VOO $VIX
View on StockTwits ↗The yield on the longer-dated 30-year Treasury bond, more sensitive to geopolitical risks, rose 4 basis points to 5.368%. The yield had hit a high of 5.401% — also its highest level since June 2007. The 2-year Treasury note yield climbed more than 1 basis point to 4.648%. It had earlier reached its highest level since July 2024 at 4.688%. The move comes at the start of the Fed’s two-day policy meeting, with markets pricing in higher chances of a quarter-point rate hike when the meeting concludes Wednesday after August inflation remained well above the central bank’s 2% target. Traders are pricing in a more than 92% chance that the Fed will raise rates by 25 basis points in its latest meeting, according to the CME FedWatch tool. $VOO
