TradeandTell

Why we built TradeandTell

Every "finance influencer" on the internet claims to have called the bottom. Most of them are typing in retroactive screenshots. We got tired of it.

TradeandTell is a portfolio tracker for people who want their calls to be verifiable. When you log a trade, our server fetches the live market price and writes that to the ledger. When the market is closed, your trade is queued and priced at the first live print after the bell. There is no "custom price" field. There is no backdating. Edits change only the note, never the fill.

On top of that we layer everything you'd expect from a modern social-investing platform: portfolio quilts, performance charts overlaid against S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, World, and ex-US benchmarks, follower-feed perf comparisons, paid follows via Stripe, embeddable widgets, and an RSS feed of every public portfolio's trade activity.

We also track every 13F super-investor (Berkshire, Bridgewater, Scion, Pershing Square, and more) — but unlike Whalewisdom or Unusual Whales, we backdate the implied trades to the quarter VWAP, not the quarter-end close. A more honest estimate of how the manager actually traded.

We launched in 2026. We're still small. If you're a trader who wants a place where your track record speaks for itself, this is for you.
