View on StockTwits ↗look at $WEN stock, down 70% from the highs in 2020, and $QSR only off around 10% from it's recent monthly highs. Are they hedged because they operate multiple failing fast food restaurant chains? Firehouse Subs isn't that good, Burger King is also failing to deliver, and Popeyes, the food is ok, but they are getting crushed. I'm unsure about Tim Horton's, never seen a Tim Horton's but I imagine it's not that good. I think $QSR is ripe for a big sell off.
View on StockTwits ↗The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is investigating a multistate Cyclospora outbreak that has spread to 31 states, with nearly 850 confirmed infections, more than 1,500 additional cases under review and 86 hospitalizations reported. No deaths have been recorded, but health officials believe the actual number of infections is significantly higher because the parasite requires specialized testing to diagnose. Cyclospora is typically transmitted through contaminated food or water and has previously been linked to fresh produce such as lettuce, cilantro, basil and raspberries. The parasite can cause severe, recurring watery diarrhea lasting days or even months if left untreated, along with nausea, abdominal cramps and weight loss. Federal investigators have not yet identified the source of the outbreak. $QSR $WEN $CMG
