View on StockTwits ↗$SMH $XLK $QQQ Semiconductors (SMH) - Weekly Chart The $598-$600 region appears increasingly important as a near-term confluence resistance zone, combining a 23.6% Fibonacci retracement, multiple prior opens and closes, and the psychological $600 level. Several recovery attempts have stalled within this area, suggesting overhead supply remains active. Above this zone, a more significant resistance cluster resides between $612 and $620, where multiple prior weekly closes and former support levels converge. Taken together, the evidence currently suggests support is holding near $570, while resistance between $598 and $620 has yet to be convincingly absorbed.
View on StockTwits ↗$PLTR $IGV $SPY $QQQ $XLK The relative-strength evidence suggests that both PLTR and the Software sector experienced a broad period of improving sponsorship between late July and late August. However, that improvement has recently faded, with PLTR and Software weakening simultaneously versus the broader market, Nasdaq, and Technology benchmarks. Additionally, all six ratios remain below their opening levels from the start of 2026, indicating that despite the recent recovery attempt, neither PLTR nor the Software sector has fully re-established longer-term relative leadership.
