BREAKING: The S&P 500's net profit margin is on track to surge to 15.7% for Q2 2026, the highest in data going back to 2009. If the current margin holds, it will mark the 10th consecutive quarterly increase. This comes as 27% of S&P 500 companies have reported their results so far this earnings season. Alphabet, $GOOGL, is the single largest margin contributor after significantly beating earnings estimates. Meanwhile, 86% of reporting S&P 500 firms have so far beaten EPS estimates, while 80% have exceeded revenue expectations. AI is driving historic earnings growth. $AI $ADI $CDNS

View on StockTwits ↗$TXN delivered a stronger report than the market reaction suggests. Texas Instruments doubled data center sales YoY and expanded gross margins by 330 bps QoQ. Free cash flow also improved significantly as CapEx was reduced after years of investing ahead of demand to build capacity. The key takeaway: power semiconductors are becoming a critical part of the AI infrastructure buildout. As more AI data centers come online, demand for efficient power management, analog chips, and industrial semiconductors should continue growing. Beyond $TXN, companies positioned in power semis could benefit from this long-term trend: $IFNNY $ON $STM $ADI While investors remain focused on GPUs and AI software, the power layer supporting data centers may become one of the biggest beneficiaries of the AI expansion. Watch revenue growth, margins, and AI infrastructure exposure. The power semiconductor opportunity may still be underappreciated.

View on StockTwits ↗$ADI Analog Devices price target raised to $525 from $500 at KeyBanc KeyBanc raised the firm's price target on Analog Devices to $525 from $500 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The firm's trip to Asia reinforced that strong AI data center demand is driving semiconductor momentum through stronger analog bookings, persistent memory shortages, higher DRAM and NAND pricing, tighter supply, and increased production across PCs and flagship smartphones, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
