This exchange-traded fund seeks to mirror an index tracking U.S. Treasury inflation-protected securities (TIPS) with maturities of less than five years. It is designed to produce returns closely aligned with actual short-term inflation and aims to provide investors with a more stable investment profile compared to TIPS funds holding longer-dated assets. Due to its shorter duration, the fund typically incurs less real interest rate risk, though this often translates to lower overall returns when compared to longer-duration TIPS funds. Its portfolio consists of bonds guaranteed by the U.S. government, with their principal value adjusted twice a year according to inflation, thereby offering a safeguard against unforeseen increases in inflation.

View on StockTwits ↗$SPY $DIA $QQQ $VTI $VTIP "Larry Ellison Scraps Plan to Sell Up to $7.5 Billion Worth of Oracle Stock" This is likely a far bigger red flag than it is being interpreted as. Canceling a move like this happens for only one reason: Contagion. Ellison is likely being convinced by many that this action would trigger a massive market sell-off. This is only delaying the inevitable, and as always, will end up costing a lot more. https://www.wsj.com/business/larry-ellison-scraps-plan-to-sell-up-to-7-5-billion-worth-of-oracle-stock-9f41edd2
View on StockTwits ↗$DJT $SPY $DIA $VTI $VTIP It is clear Republicans are about to have their clocks cleaned from now through 2028. Get your portfolio ready for some regulatory actions and turbulence. The Democrats are likely going to: Rescind tariffs Investigate corruption in govt contracts Reduce military expenditure Nix any VZ oil agreements End the Iran War (TRY TO) Repair relations with Europe Regulate social medias use by teens Regulate datacenters and the AI industry Impeach the unfit guy currently ruining things. The market is going to act viscerally negative to a Democratic sweep. Wall St. will (initially) magnify it through heavy shorting and media bombast. If your investments are far outperforming the market and it's own sales (OpenAI, SPCX, TSLA, Anthropic for example) be very skeptical this will continue. View on StockTwits ↗$SPY $DIA $VTI $VTIP $VOO It is hibernation time. "Treasury yields jumped on Wednesday after the Treasury Department said it's going to triple its buyback operation of longer-dated government debt to $6.X billion. The move follows the Treasury Department's announcement last month that it's going to at least double the level of government debt buybacks. Following the announcement, the 10-year Treasury note yield rose to 4.857%, reaching its highest level since November 2023. The yield had briefly climbed above the closely watched 4.8% level on Tuesday as rising oil prices added to concerns about inflation." https://www.cnbc.com/2026/09/08/stock-market-today-live-updates.html
View on StockTwits ↗$DIA $SPY $QQQ $VTI $VTIP The AI bear case: Accounting depreciation is slower than economic depreciation. A $30k GPU depreciated straight-line over 6 years is worth $20k on the books after 2 years, but compute is being commoditized (per Jensen). A newer GPU can make the old one economically obsolete long before the accounting schedule says so. That's the risk: billions in AI infrastructure debt are being underwritten against future compute cash flows, not the physical GPUs themselves. If GPU rental prices fall faster than the depreciation schedule, book value, financing value and real-world value diverge. The GPU doesn't need to be worthless, it just needs to be worth less than the debt against it. This is not (overt) fraud. It is convenient oversight. Asset values that look durable on paper, but the underlying economics move much faster. https://www.reuters.com/commentary/breakingviews/financiers-are-set-turn-nvidia-into-an-ai-baron-2026-09-02/?utm_source=chatgpt.com
View on StockTwits ↗$NVDA $SPY $DIA $VTI $VTIP Remember "The Smartest Guys in the Room", history is rhyming: Jensen’s “commoditize compute” thesis risks being Enron’s electricity thesis with a trillion-dollar industrial build-out attached. The mistake is confusing the creation of a market with the creation of economic value. Enron believed that if electricity could be standardized, traded, and "financialized", enormous value would follow. It didn’t. The danger for NVIDIA is that commoditizing GPUs could produce the same outcome: an industry spends staggering amounts of capital making compute abundant and interchangeable, only to discover that abundance destroys the scarcity/margins that justified the investment in the first place. Enron tried to commoditize electrons; Jensen wants to commoditize compute. The difference is that Jensen has convinced the world to finance the commodity buildout before we know whether the commodity economics work. https://www.transformernews.ai/p/will-bets-on-price-of-compute-help-or-harm-ai-economy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enron_scandal

"Treasury Selloff Pauses While Stocks Rise" "10-year yield touches highest level since 2023; global bond yields keep rising" My Econ professor was not wrong: "You can fix markets temporarily, but you can't fix human nature."
