Take-Two is one of the largest global developers and publishers of video games, with labels including Rockstar, 2K, and Zynga. Grand Theft Auto is the firm's biggest franchise, accounting for about 30% of total sales for the past decade. NBA 2K is the industry's dominant basketball video game, with Take-Two releasing a new version annually. Other notable franchises include Red Dead Redemption, Borderlands, and Civilization. Typically, more than three-fourths of the firm's sales are from in-game spending, with the remainder coming from initial game sales. Since acquiring Zynga in 2022, mobile makes up about half of total sales.

View on StockTwits ↗$TTWO be patient with this one it will keep trending upward unless there’s another delay-which at this point seems unlikely. Also forecast made for the premium pre-orders are close to 90% which is unheard of for any games. https://www.gamesindustry.biz/sensor-tower-89-of-gta6-preorders-are-for-the-100-ultimate-edition Take this a grain of salt.
View on StockTwits ↗$TTWO exactly why I am balls deep in TTWO. The $80 purchase price is the top of the iceberg when it comes to how much F***ing money they will make from this game!! Insane upside still left here- TTWO to $0.5b MC
View on StockTwits ↗$TTWO go play with your Lego or is that too expensive too?
View on StockTwits ↗$TTWO lmao. Their greed is off the charts, you now gotta pay to watch a trailer😭. Imagine what the game is actually like. The sale price isn’t 80, the real price is in the micro transactions, gotta be at least 200 to play for the game and extra for the online mode. Gamers aren’t gonna accept that in this economy, especially the game will be bad

View on StockTwits ↗$TTWO thankful for this dip. Thought I would miss the pre-November runup
View on StockTwits ↗$TTWO. Sorry for the delay and if anyone has already posted this. 🚨 Material new GTA VI preorder estimate: Sensor Tower is now putting a number on the launch preorder thesis: ~25 million preorders by November 19, worth roughly $2 billion. This is an independent analyst estimate, not a number disclosed by Take-Two Interactive. The particularly interesting part is the expected trajectory. Sensor Tower says the proper marketing campaign hasn’t even begun and expects most GTA VI preorders to arrive in roughly the final week before launch. It also expects the final Standard/Ultimate mix to settle near 50/50 at $79.99/$99.99, despite the current early cohort skewing toward Ultimate. $TTWO implication: the 25M / ~$2B estimate is the meaningful new datapoint. It supports an enormous launch while also giving us our first serious external benchmark against which to judge whether the preorder story is genuinely running into the 30–50M territory.
