Electronic Arts is one of the largest global developers and publishers of video games. Its most important franchises are the Madden NFL and FC soccer games, which it releases annually. In 2024, it also relaunched its American college football game. Other major franchises include Apex Legends, Battlefield, and The Sims. Typically, about three-quarters of the firm's sales are from in-game spending, with the remainder coming from initial game sales.

$EA so they filed for EU FSR and the deadline is 7/22. that along with CFIUS are the only remaining hurdles. they extended the tender expiration to 7/15. it SEEMS they expect these hurdles to be cleared by then. they can always just extend again though. deal is definitely set to close by September. they’re refusing to sell me 7/17 205c for cheap.

View on StockTwits ↗Advertisers can now reach fans through native ad units in sports simulations, use advanced targeting to gain campaign insights, and join its sports partner program. “With EA Advertising, we’re helping brands become part of those moments in ways that are relevant and built for players.” David Tinson, Chief Experience Officer at Electronic Arts, said in the release. EA has partnered with brands in the past to deliver in-game experiences, including Visa , Lowe’s , Red Bull, Xfinity, Peacock, and Mountain Dew. $EA
View on StockTwits ↗Electronic Arts announced EA Advertising, a new way for brands to connect with fans through its portfolio of games, from stadium signs to custom content, the company said in a press release Monday. EA Advertising is expanding EA’s ecosystem by enabling brands to integrate directly into gameplay through dynamic, real-time placements, from stadium signage to custom in-game content, designed to enhance, not disrupt, the player experience. In these interactive gameplay environments, brands become part of the game itself, reflecting how players engage with advertising in real-world contexts. EA Advertising will allow brands to integrate themselves into directly into gameplay through real-time placements, from stadium signage to in-game content. $EA
View on StockTwits ↗$GT Even though revenue declined 8-9% from this time last year, calling nearly 4 Billion in revenue from the recent earnings report “a dying company” seems extreme. They are the # 3 tire producer on the planet, right? This brand name is just going to go belly up without being acquired or a merger or a recovery like it did during its entire stock chart history? This is Warner Brothers Discovery Netflix or Walgreens Boot Alliance or $EA or $COF & Discover card, or Chevron & HESS all over again. That’s Pop Pops perspective!
View on StockTwits ↗@ribbey @cubie @Jeremymartin007 @simon58 @jenbunn @EBE_day @TraderRapp @Godreal1 @tonyctl @zuby34 issue with $EA now is apparently CFIUS isn’t the only hurdle left. there’s also this EU review that they haven’t even submitted for yet. so let’s see if i can sell my 6/18 lottos.
View on StockTwits ↗@cubie @Jeremymartin007 @simon58 @jenbunn @EBE_day @ribbey @TraderRapp @Godreal1 @tonyctl @zuby34 $EA i’m still hoping for CFIUS approval before 6/18 and a gap to $210. it’s been inching up since i got in.

The Targeted Closing Window - June / July 2026 - is Management’s baseline target for final regulatory clearance and formal delisting from the NASDAQ. September 28, 2026 i s the hard contractual deadline for the deal to close.
