$SMMT Some major buying going on at the lows
View on StockTwits ↗$SMMT 13k more shares at 13.32 for the swing up.
View on StockTwits ↗$SMMT At ASCO there was barely disguised racism that Chinese citizens were somewhat less human than US folk. One US NY cancer centre specialist (strong Merck ties no doubt) even questioned what would they do with the extra months of life? Makes my blood boil that Summit took all that crap lying down.
View on StockTwits ↗$SMMT Here’s most likely what we are experiencing now and have been experiencing in recent and past volatility: Big investors can legally push a stock’s price lower by short-selling (borrowing shares and selling them in hopes of buying back cheaper later), simply selling large amounts of stock they already own, using options or futures to bet against the stock, or publicly sharing negative research - including articles from analysts or other commentators and authors that interpret results in the most unfavorable manner possible - based only on public facts. And it’s all done openly and legally. Long.
