$RILY chatter on StockTwits

$RILY but to do all of that, they need to lock-in those huge gains on at least some of that huge $BW ownership especially now that they will not IPO the carve out

$RILY but I still think they should do a stock buyback before they restart the dividend on common stock, they diluted the stock quite a bit to get the debt levels down & still have a chance to buyback the stock while still very cheap

$RILY I am hopeful that once they pay off the September bonds, they restore the $RILYP dividends & then can setup for EOY looking to revisit their dividend on the common stock… I imagine the CEO has been missing those over the last 2 years and wants them back…

$RILY ~ 2/3 of that is the September due & once that’s paid, I could see the whole thing rerate? As December amount not significant & both are trading close to Par indicating confidence will be paid or rolled

  • Tom Harrison@PittsburghTraderBullish2d

$RILY yes, the remaining 2026 debt has to be the main thing holding them back from rerating… ‘somewhere in the $280–320M range now — though an exact current figure would require a fresh 8-K or Q1 10-Q disclosure showing precise principal outstanding for each series post the June 4 exchange. The key risk is RILYN matures in ~3 months (September) and RILYG in ~6 months (December)’ …

$RILY Sadly I don't see anything too crazy happening until the 2026 debts are paid or refinanced. Once completed this will see a rerate, as long as the organic company (not investments) can keep growing. Long hold here

$RILY not even 1/2 million volume for 99% of the trading day then > doubles the volume in the final minute? How is that possible especially given the tradeable float so small… who do they buy that many shares from in final minute?

$RILY how is it possible that many shares at the close? Did the HFT not bother filling orders until last minute?
