$NTAP chatter is getting louder. Can’t ignore $Ntap momentum today… actually the last couple weeks.
View on StockTwits ↗$NTAP Printed another all-time high this morning
View on StockTwits ↗Goldman Sachs maintains a Buy rating on NetApp and raised its 12-month price target to $210 from $200. NetApp gained 86% between April 1 and Aug. 7, significantly outperforming the S&P 500’s 18%, fueled by investor enthusiasm around enterprise infrastructure spending. Goldman expects fiscal Q1 2027 EPS of $2.12, slightly above the midpoint of guidance, with revenue of $1.81 billion. The firm raised its fiscal 2027-2029 revenue and EPS estimates by an average of 5% and 4%, respectively, driven by expectations for higher average selling prices for storage products. Key risks include supply shortages, structural declines in on-premise storage demand, increased competition and global macroeconomic weakness. NetApp recently beat consensus estimates for fiscal Q4 revenue and earnings, prompting price-target increases from firms including Argus and Barclays. The company also announced the acquisition of AI data infrastructure firm DataPelago. $NTAP $GS

View on StockTwits ↗$NTAP printed a new 52-week high today
View on StockTwits ↗$NTAP NetApp is making some serious noise today. $NTAP jumped roughly 5.5% and hit a new 52-week high. The catalyst? AI-driven storage demand continues to be a major theme, and Morgan Stanley just upgraded NTAP, citing stronger storage demand and raising its price target to $173. 📈 Key level: $200–$201 🔥 Breakout: Holding above $201 could open the door to a new price-discovery phase. ⚠️ Watch: After a move this strong, a pullback/retest of the breakout level wouldn't be surprising. The interesting question now: Can $NTAP turn $200 into support and make a run toward $210–$220? I'm watching price + volume closely.
View on StockTwits ↗$NTAP NetApp just got a vote of confidence: Morgan Stanley upgraded the stock to Equal Weight on optimism around server and storage spending. The key takeaway is that management/investors are watching demand trends in that space more closely—and this move suggests Morgan Stanley thinks the setup is improving, even if it’s not yet a full “outperform” call.
View on StockTwits ↗A NEW AI TRADE IS STARTING TO EMERGE Semis, memory and optics are still moving, but data storage is showing stronger relative momentum. These are now at the top of my watchlist: $HPE $DELL $P $BLZE $NTAP The setups are getting interesting, and this is the area I’ll be watching most closely over the next few weeks. Software Leadership Is Starting To Stand Out. The next alert is coming right up. Those who haven't enabled notifications usually only find out after the market has already taken off.
View on StockTwits ↗$MU $SNDK $QQQ $SPY $NTAP I let the trades exit on Friday. Sitting on about 80% cash. Plenty of picks this morning. The number of picks in the Tech models has been slowly increasing the past week or so. There has been a lot of upside volatility in tech stocks, even though some have been fading after pops. I’m still running QB500 with the Tech models. Stick to the top 20 across those and the list is heavy tech, just how it shakes out. The models think more opportunity in tech for the intended targets. A bunch of those Tech names also hit QB500, just at lower confidence, so they dedupe into one row. Also looking at other models. Discretionary and Healthcare. Both have been doing better as the rally has been consolidating and spreading. Earnings have been fine. Oil is lower for now. Rates feel a little more settled. Near term I’m buy the dips, sell the rips. End of the month and September I want to be ready for downside volatility again. MU and SNDK at about 3% each. Keeping both. Medium term I still think they go meaningfully higher. Both are on today’s list. Image is the Top Picks page - combined models, 31 deduplicated names, average confidence about 65%. CONF% is that middle column on each row. You can see how tech-heavy the top of the book is. MU’s up near the top around 82%. SNDK further down around 66%. Same names I’ve been trading with the exits on. quant-builder.ai
