$QQQ $GOOGL $KWEB $SPY $NVDA Tech CEOs asking for a slowdown is totally unrelated to safety or security. It is because they are near bankruptcy pushed by Trump to use debt to hide that AI bubble already burst. As I stated in the post below and backed by every chart on the domestic AI sector. GLTA bergsonjm.substack.com
View on StockTwits ↗Imagine a country so amazing, world class infrastructure, AI leader of the world, dream destination for all retail investors, haven for innovation …and it has to ban its own people and capital from leaving! 😂 $BABA $BIDU $KWEB https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2026/09/15/china-rich-talent-immigration-capital-outflows-border-control-.html
View on StockTwits ↗$BABA $BIDU $KWEB Again a gentle reminder of this simple playbook as HSI fully retraces yesterday’s move which some were claiming was a rotation out of US. I should add another rule to this playbook : AI full on: more liquidity to US, CN down; AI pacing: CN up for a session, eventually down.
View on StockTwits ↗Another pathetic set of data from CN - no surprises at all and why retailers $BABA $JD continue to be depressed, and yes Baba is a retailer! Retail sales came in at 0.4% vs 0.7% expected - that kind of growth for a ‘growing’ economy. Bagholders will continue to deny but fact is property and consumption is down in the dumps. Only bright spot are exports, which is more a function of other countries good well rather than CN. Now, there will be more calls for stimulus…which of course will not happen, and with Fed expected to hike, it will add more pressure to these markets. $KWEB https://x.com/cnbc/status/2099680882441191878?s=46&t=WEK_fsJ8CLIEg5yJyNxMeA
View on StockTwits ↗$KWEB . Qfin, Tigr, Vnet. Etc....Quite a few beaten down Chinese tickers. Mostly tech and financial services... I have been burned too many times to continue bottom fishing. You can have a perfectly good Chinese company with amazing financials and an amazing outlook. And everyone will absolutely hates them and never let's them get off the ground.
View on StockTwits ↗$BABA it is hilarious how some folks claim to be “investors” and then talk about short term, even hourly, moves. Lot of celebration yesterday with US mrkts down and CN getting a bid - few hours later and both have closed their respective gaps from Friday and we are BAU! $BIDU $KWEB
View on StockTwits ↗With prospects that the US may be more inclined to regulate/slow the expansion of AI than China, wouldn’t it make sense to start to consider rotating some Tech exposure overseas? $KWEB showing very early reaction to support at the June lows. $CQQQ
View on StockTwits ↗$KWEB $SPY $QQQ $NVDA $KWEB green is a warning sign for S&P. When retail begins to reward the actual AI winners, there is no support for S&P above 6K. See charts. All the margin debt taken out on the losing horse in the AI race (Chart 4 - US closed model spend is crashing). GLTA Visit bergsonjm.substack.com for articles on AI.
View on StockTwits ↗$BABA Given that CN AI models distill and in many cases just present answers from Claude / OpenAI, won’t any ‘pause’ or ‘pacing’ in US AI development just naturally slow down CN AI as well? $BIDU $KWEB
View on StockTwits ↗$QQQ The AI Trade has topped; China will now be on the path to victory because they won't stop! Bearish on QQQ; Bullish on the $KWEB
View on StockTwits ↗This is 100% true, and I was there in Dec. Part of this is due to online retailers but otherwise things are not good except during domestic holidays. Economic numbers are ok cz of exports. $BABA $BIDU $JD $KWEB https://x.com/Molson_Hart/status/2098685015353950275/video/1?s=46
