These were the strongest markets as of the Friday Close: $TNX $XLE (NNH) $EWJ (NNH) $EWY (NNH) $EWZ (NNH). NNH = Needs New High. You can see why I add that qualification when warranted. Of these, TNX is the strongest, but up only 0.8 bp at this time. The Bond investors/traders are still looking for a rate hike on Weds. from the Fed. EWJ is the next strongest, although off its Friday high. EWZ is about level with the recent daily lows after an earlier swoon, so they "bought the dip." XLE is just above the low of 2 days ago, but revisiting it. No dip buyers for EWY to speak of.
