$QQQ $SQQQ $IYW $QLD $TQQQ You can combine models on Quant-Builder.ai. This is one of those setups. I run two models on the same tech universe. A Tech Long at 60% confidence and a Tech Short at 55%. Each morning they rank their top 20. Those lists go into one book. Most days that book is about 20 names. Some days it is lighter. Green on the chart is long. Red is short. Some days the book is net long. Some days it is net short. You are not deciding you are a tech long this month. The mix flips when the setups flip. The image is the combined Portfolio Chart. Three panels. Top is confidence, and the return if those picks were held through the model target. Middle is picks per day. Green is long. Red is short. That panel is the wave. As the market changes, the book swings from net long to net short and back. Bottom is the equity curve. Top 20, 1% per name, buy at the open, -5% stop, held through the target date. 65 days. Average hold +1.86%. Win rate 52%. The model path is +21.74%. The Technology benchmark is +3.87%. Two models, one list, let the long and short sides change. Together they keep a pulse on it. Trade in batches, setting up the entire trade across all stocks in one configuration. One model would just stay on one side of the sector. Free Demo at quant-builder.ai/learn
View on StockTwits ↗$QQQ $IYW $IYH $MU $TMO quant-builder.ai Tech Overweight Today - Healthcare Underweight Got back about 40bps of the loss from a few days ago. MU is my top holding, followed by TMO and STZ. I had HPE near the top but half of it hit the take-profit on the open yesterday. TBH I thought they reported yesterday morning and that is why it did that early pop. Still have a 1.5% position in. Down solidly today. Traded again around the edges. Still about 60% long. Healthcare has been showing up heavily. Today it pulled back to only 4 picks. The tech model did the exact opposite. After being dull for a few weeks, it has a bunch of picks today. The sectors have kinda flipped. The model now sees things in the tech sector that make it seem like a better short term opportunity. Although I have held some tech the past few weeks, much of it actually came from the QB500 model. That is the same theme as before. When a book goes quiet, that is information. The Healthcare sector has had a great run, it is very quiet today. I’ll let the healthcare sector stocks that I own just exit(if they hit) and not add back for today. The first image is Today's Picks from those same three models. Combined list, ranked by confidence. 42 deduplicated picks. Tech is the bulk of the list today. The second image is the Tech All Cap Long portfolio chart, 30 days. This is the tech model. The middle chart shows Picks/Day. While tech was moving higher, it kept making a high number of picks. Then as the tech sector topped and had weakness, the tech model pulled back on the number of picks it found to be opportunistic.

View on StockTwits ↗$VOO $VT $IYH $IYW Ditch the Stock Screener - Use Machine Learning When looking to trade, the first tool almost everyone opens is a stock screener. Finviz. TradingView. The one in the broker app. You sit down in the morning without a list, so you go look for one. You set PE, RSI, volume, a moving average. You hit apply. You get 40 names or 400. Then you scroll and try to decide which of those are actually worth trading. That is the whole workflow for a lot of people. It feels like research because there are numbers on the screen. A stock screener does not tell you what to trade. It filters. PE under 20. RSI in a band. Volume above a line. You get a list of names that passed the rules you typed in. The problem is not the numbers. PE, RSI, moving averages, margins. The problem is your guessing on what works. History never got a vote. So the list is whatever matched this morning’s guess, not what actually set up in the past. It is Easy to Switch to Machine Learning. quant-builder.ai is built for that. You just stop guessing and train on them instead. If they don’t work, then you can refine the indicators until you find a quantitative model that consistently gives you stocks that match the setups you’re looking for. That trained setup is a model. It looks at years of historical data and learns which combinations of those numbers preceded the move you care about. Every morning that trained model scores the market and ranks the names. That is a prediction. Not a filter. The two pictures are Today's Picks from the same models, one week apart. August 11 it was overweight tech. August 18 it was overweight healthcare. The models rotated into the better part of the market. That is not something you can find just by using stock screeners. A screener waits for you to already know which sector to type in. You build the model. You make it better over time. You use a bunch of metrics, not one stale ratio. You wake up to a ranked list. Then you trade those stocks — size, stops, take profits, exit dates — from the same place. Quant-Builder is that loop. Not a better screener. Train, get the predictions, trade the list.
