FERBASA, officially Cia de Ferro Ligas da Bahia, is a Brazilian company specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of ferroalloys, including ferrochrome and ferrosilicon. Its extensive product line features high-carbon and low-carbon ferrochrome, ferrochrome silicon, ferrosilicon, as well as concentrate, chromite sand, lump, active silica, and quicklime. Beyond its primary production activities, FERBASA also engages in mining, forestry, and metallurgy, and generates electricity through wind power. Founded in Salvador, Brazil, in 1961, the company functions as a subsidiary of Fundação José Carvalho.
