88 Energy Limited is an oil and gas exploration firm concentrating its efforts on assets located within the United States. The company's primary holdings include several significant projects on Alaska's North Slope: A 75% ownership stake in the Icewine project, which encompasses approximately 193,000 acres. A full 100% working interest in the Yukon project, spanning roughly 38,681 acres in the Central North Slope area. A 50% working interest in the Peregrine project, an area covering about 195,373 acres situated within the NPR-A region. And a 100% working interest in the Umiat Oil Field project, comprising around 17,633 acres positioned immediately to the south of the Peregrine project. Originally founded in 1996, the company was known as Tangiers Petroleum Limited before it adopted the name 88 Energy Limited in February 2015.
