Needham reiterated $LUCD Buy-$3 and said We Think It's Very Likely That CMS Will Issue A Draft Local Coverage Determination (LCD) Covering EsoGuard This Year. $CSTL MDT MYGN GRAL GH $PAVM NTRA Here's what else Needham said in its note to investors: In 2Q26, EsoGuard test volume grew 1% Y/Y to 2,770. LUCD's 2Q26 revenue came in above consensus and its operating expenses were below our estimate. LUCD ended 2Q26 with ~$33M of cash as its cash burn decreased moderately from 1Q26. Given LUCD's published data and positive Contractor Advisory Committee (CAC) Meeting on 9/4/25, we think it's very likely that CMS will issue a draft Local Coverage Determination (LCD) covering EsoGuard this year. We expect LUCD's revenue growth to increase and to narrow the gap with EsoGuard test volume growth as it gains coverage from Medicare and other insurers, and we reiterate our Buy rating.

View on StockTwits ↗$CSTL Took a long position. This is quite undervalued relative to the genetics testing industry. -Product has almost no competition in their niche indications. -Huge beat on top and bottom lines. -Huge increase in guidance. Growth is real and solid. -Multiples are too low considering they are close to profitability and generating positive free cash flow. -Low short interest = shorts know this is going much higher. $XBI $IBB

View on StockTwits ↗$LUCD I listened to the $CSTL call. One of the analysts asked about Esopredict, the Previse sponge on a string device. The answer was: -Castle has protocols worked out for cell collection -Expect an update 1H 2027 So they are WAY behind, not going to be a competitor to EsoGuard for many years, if ever. Cell collection has always been the fatal flaw of the sponge on a string device because the sponge gets contaminated on the way back out, plus you have to sit and sit there and wait for the capsule to dissolve while the string is just hanging down your throat. Detachments have historically been a problem as well. Not sure why they are even bothering with it. EsoGuard is absolutely the only option for non-invasive, fast screening.
