View on StockTwits ↗$EVH Once again, the share price has closed lower – it’s sickening. As I said, this share’s price is always tied to the wider economic climate; even if there’s just a hint of concern that interest rates might rise, the price plummets. This share is currently only being used for day trading. Everyone’s in today and will be out again quickly before the close, ahead of tomorrow’s CPI data. Scenario A (Miss): The core rate (Core MoM) comes in at 0.0% or +0.1%. Consequence: the Fed has no reason to raise interest rates and will pause in September. Scenario B: exactly at +0.1% or +0.2%. Consequence: Combined with the weak labour market, this is likely to be enough for the doves at the Fed to pause on interest rates. Scenario C: The figure is +0.3% or higher. Consequence: Inflation is rising unexpectedly sharply. The Fed will most likely raise interest rates in September. In Scenario 1, the share price will rise sharply tomorrow and I think it will finally close in positive territory.

View on StockTwits ↗$EVH We’re already 6 cents below yesterday’s high again. The share price keeps going up and then down again. We’re not really making any headway. We haven’t closed above $4.20 for the past three days; it just keeps rising and falling, and either opens every day with a massive downward gap or closes every day with a massive downward gap. But to be fair, many shares are following this pattern TODAY – everyone’s nervous about tomorrow’s CPI data.
View on StockTwits ↗$EVH Yes, actually, I agree – that was definitely outright market manipulation. First they drove the share price down to make money, and now they’re pushing it back up by buying it up. They can be reported to the SEC for this, and the excuse that ‘at $6 the share was a risk, but at $4.20 it isn’t’ doesn’t hold water either. Lots of banks use that excuse with the SEC, but it’s daft that they say, ‘At $4.20, the share offers a 46 per cent upside, so buy’, well, it’s a bit of a problem that that 50 per cent would actually be more than $6 – so you can’t use that argument either, because then they’re valuing the share at even more than $6, at which point they supposedly thought the share was too risky, which is why it was on the warning list. It was quite obviously a case of serious market manipulation. It really gets on my nerves...
