$XYL Lots to like here at the macro "water play" level, but they also provide cooling pumps for data centers, which isn't getting much attention. Granted, it's likely a very small part of their revenue makeup, but I'd guess that it's fast growing.

$XYL XYL is too profitable. I also own the great electric infrastructure stock $ETN and it is down $70 in two weeks. I’m about to sell everything and move it into that money losing shitco ASTS. It was up $6 yesterday- about 10%. Or TSLA. They make next to nothing in profit. Stock does very well. Wall St likes meme stocks.

$XYL this is a no brainer. Everyone moves chasing tech. Sure. Look at the last 3-4 years. That type of run is not only unsustainable but momey will invariably flow back into safety and infrastructure soon

$XYL feels like a seriously underappreciated AI infrastructure play. Look at $CRWV — the market has been willing to aggressively price massive backlog as future AI revenue. Meanwhile, Xylem just reported data-center orders up 300%+ YoY, with backlog building into 2027, yet the stock is still largely trading like a slow-growth industrial because revenue hasn’t caught up to the orders yet. AI data centers require massive water/cooling infrastructure, and when these orders start converting into accelerating revenue, I think the market eventually connects the dots. That current disconnect is the opportounity. Orders → backlog → revenue acceleration → multiple re-rating. Very bullish on $XYL here.

Xylem announced CFO William “Bill” Grogan will leave to become CFO of GE HealthCare. Xylem named Andrea van der Berg, currently SVP of Finance for its Water Infrastructure segment, as his successor effective Sept. 1, 2026. Grogan, who joined in 2023 and helped integrate Evoqua Water Technologies, is expected to stay through mid-September for the transition. Xylem reaffirmed its Q3 and full-year 2026 guidance issued July 28, but investors focused on the unexpected leadership change, adding uncertainty around strategic execution. Broader market pressure also weighed on the stock as rising long-term Treasury yields, higher oil prices and geopolitical tensions between the U.S. and Iran pressured industrial and rate-sensitive shares, while the Nasdaq lagged on weakness in technology and semiconductor stocks. Xylem shares fell to a session low of $112.50, well below their 52-week high of $154.27, despite unchanged financial guidance. $XYL
