The Trade Desk provides a self-service platform that helps advertisers and ad agencies programmatically find and purchase digital ad inventory (display, video, audio, and social) on devices like computers, smartphones, and connected TVs. The firm's platform is referred to as a DSP in the digital ad industry, and it generates revenue from fees based on a percentage of what its clients spend on advertising, sometimes referred to as a "take rate."

Trading at 22.7× earnings vs its 191.3× historical median P/E.
Fair value ≈ $156.87 · price $18.65 today
Fair-value line = the stock's median historical P/E × earnings. Price below the orange line = cheap vs its own history; above = expensive. Not investment advice.
$SMCI $PYPL $TTD $XPEV Ok so they are calling market crash of 70-80% in a year....I hope that will not happen since everything I own including all china stocks are on absolute bottom, a crash now would mean I am bankrupted. 🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🥶

View on StockTwits ↗5 I’d own, ranked. $TTD is my strongest. Largest independent ad platform on earth at the cheapest multiple of its public life, down 85% from its high while the business never cracked. 12% growth, 78% margins, 95% retention, zero debt, 1.4B in cash. Overhangs clearing and Aug 6 is the proof. The selling was the multiple, not the company. 2 $ADBE. Most hated of the group, repriced low on an AI fear that is actually a tailwind. Cheap, massive cash flow, Firefly scaling. Same misprice setup as TTD. 3 $CRM. Agentforce is the clearest AI revenue story in big cap software. Fair multiple, fat free cash flow, steady buyback. 4 $NOW. Highest quality here. 98% retention, becoming the AI workflow layer of the enterprise. Priciest of the five, but you pay up for the compounder. 5 $PLTR. Biggest grower, best momentum, AIP demand is real. Priced for perfection though, so the highest risk if sentiment turns.

View on StockTwits ↗$TTD just put hard numbers behind the one thing the bears say can’t last. Tripadvisor, running through agency PMG on the platform, used The Trade Desk’s AI audience tools and got 75% more efficient cost per booking, a 2.7x higher conversion rate versus control, and cheaper media and data CPMs at the same time. Read that again. Lower cost to convert and lower data cost together. The entire short case is that TTD’s 20% take rate is dead weight that Amazon and the walled gardens will undercut on price. This is a named brand proving the opposite. You pay an independent platform because it makes every ad dollar work harder, and here is the receipt. The take rate is not a tax. It is the thing producing the efficiency. An agency ran it, an advertiser verified it, and the lift shows up at the only place that matters, the conversion. The bears are arguing with a case study now.
