The primary objective of this fund is to generate current income for its investors. Typically, it allocates a minimum of 80% of its total assets, encompassing both net assets and any borrowed capital utilized for investment, to high-quality fixed-income securities. To achieve exposure to these underlying investments, the fund has the flexibility to employ a variety of investment vehicles, with prominent examples including closed-end funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and other mutual funds. Additionally, up to 20% of the fund's assets may be invested in preferred stock.
