$SIEGY is approaching a key catalyst: Siemens reports Q3 results on August 6. Investors will focus on Digital Industries and Smart Infrastructure. In Q2, revenue grew 6%, software revenue increased 14%, and Smart Infrastructure orders showed strong momentum. Siemens maintained its FY2026 outlook for 6% to 8% comparable revenue growth. Key Q3 items: automation demand, margins, currency pressure, US tariffs and new electrification and data-center orders. The ongoing share-buyback program may offer support, although strong expectations could already be reflected in the valuation. Watch $ABB as a relevant peer benefiting from the same automation, electrification and AI data-center investment cycle. Not financial advice. Do your own research. $SIEGY $ABB
View on StockTwits ↗German logistics company Beumer Group has filed a lawsuit against EU antitrust regulators after the European Commission refused to review Vanderlande’s €300 million acquisition of Siemens’ airport logistics business. The deal, announced two years ago, involved Vanderlande—owned by Japan’s Toyota Industries—acquiring Siemens’ baggage handling and parcel-sorting operations. Beumer had raised competition concerns and supported requests from Portugal, Spain, and Italy for the European Commission to take over the merger review. However, the Commission rejected the referral in May, arguing that the transaction had already been completed for more than a year and was better handled by national authorities. In its July 17 court filing, Beumer argued that the Commission wrongly declined to assess the deal, claiming national regulators lack the power to effectively address or unwind the completed transaction. The company is seeking to have the EU decision annulled. $SIEGY $TM

"Amid geopolitical turmoil, Europeans are taking nuanced and realistic positions that demand tough choices from their leaders. A major new ECFR poll shows Europeans embrace self-reliance and are clear-eyed about Donald Trump—but do not expect a permanent break from the US. They back Ukraine—but are anxious about bringing it into the European Union now or sending troops there. They know they face an energy crisis—but remain solidly opposed to Russian fossil-fuel imports. Leaders therefore have the public’s backing to pursue strategic autonomy without posturing, to seek out new mechanisms for supporting Ukraine, and to push ahead on energy sovereignty." https://ecfr.eu/publication/home-alone-europeans-are-ready-to-defend-themselves/
