$USO.X >> Daily Chart >> Said during the trading day that the upper wick on today's candle 🕯 shows some profit 📈 taking, the indicators are frothy, and look for a drop to EMA 4 @ 157.20 to test support Oil 🛢 futures are currently down 1.37% $SPY $OIL $SCO $XLE
View on StockTwits ↗$SPY $USO.X I bought the 2X $SCO today to start my short position in WTI Oil. I also added shares to 2X $DUG shorting the energy space. Congrats to all the energy & oil bulls. You have had a great run! .
View on StockTwits ↗$SCO Very bad news, 10 years ago oil'd be spiking to 200+ (China not the oil glutton it was, and trending less dependent (EVs, solar, etc.)) - added to SCO, leaving room for 120+ Brent. https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/oil-news-crude-futures-brent-november-wti-october-east-west-pipeline-latest-houthis-attack-us-iran-war-trump-news-schork-oil-prediction-strategic-petroleum-reserve-news/cZtnSqaRBcr
View on StockTwits ↗$USO.X >> Daily Chart >> I think 🤔 oil 🛢 could stall here Look 👀 at the upper wick on today's candle 🕯 Traders are locking 🔐 in some profits 📈 Possible dip to EMA 4 @ 157.15 coming The indicators are super frothy $SPY $XLE $OIL $SCO
View on StockTwits ↗$CL_F we need a massive rejection here. This ridiculous price gouging at the pump has to stop $SCO
View on StockTwits ↗I’ve been anticipating for WTI to either rollover back under $100 or breakout at $105. And on $105 break, I expected WTI to aim for $110. Therefore, the stop limit was set at $105.17 and got hit. That said, the Oct. future (MCLV26) expires on coming Monday, so I needed to rollover to the Nov. (MCLX26) contract anyway so stopping out was strategically thought out. BTW, there is $5 backwardation between Oct. vs Nov. futures. That means, Nov. future is ~$5 cheaper than the Oct. So next Monday when future rolls to the Nov contract, the chart will show $5 drop, but someone that rolls from Oct to Nov, your P/L shouldn’t change. Makes sense? :-) To accommodate this USO also gradually rolls over to the next months contract over 5 days starting on the first business day of each month. That means, the USO already rolled over for Sept. month, and next rollover will occur on Oct 1-7. More confusing? Welcome to the futures trading and underlying ETF. $CL_F $USO.X $SCO $SPY $QQQ
View on StockTwits ↗$SCO terrible fucking GURUs here!!!! Complete Frauds!!!! Kill them!!!!
View on StockTwits ↗@Cactus2389 I have 1245 shares of $SCO avg. 20.47. I plan to start selling positions over $22.5 which would put WTI between 90-95. @StingieStogies When it comes to $XLF , it is really toppy at this point. And if market either corrects or money flow goes back into semis, either way XLF aka $DRIP will fall. As for oil itself, the products like deisel are also topping out, and all you need is FOMC to make an interest rate announcement (or not at all) for oil kneejerk reaction to be temporary falling oil prices (or Trump TACO etc...). Either way, I'm in accumulation mode for SCO, and ok with oil prices rising as Iran doesn't want a happy ending for Trump before midterms. And of course, if that does happen, well it means VIXplosion and my largest day trade UVIX position benefits from it. Then UVIX proceeds go to more SCO accumulation (and WTI will collapse with any hint of a recession coming). Either way, my TMF and SCO are both 'hedges' against my SOXS and UVIX positions, as in short term happy times are here again from FOMC, TMF SCO will rebound, and get converted into UVIX as the VIX wedge continues to fall and get tighter. Convoluted explanation, but you get my point.
View on StockTwits ↗$SCO This ETF needs to be delisted. Oil down, barely any movement. Oil up, significant drop. The only people making money on this fund are the managers who setup the fund. What the actual f*ck!!!
