$SBGSY $GOOGL The Google of energy isn't on the Generation side (Constellation, GE Vernova, etc.) but on the Consumption side - Schneider Electric. Unlike Eaton, it has heavy presence in Asia and Africa in addition to North America and EU - where the datacenters will mostly be built.
View on StockTwits ↗My research for the last 3 weeks has been to find the "Google of sectors" I believe will dominate the next decade+. The most surprising (yet the most solid) one : $SBGSY (Schneider Electric). Energy is a sure-fire sector that is going to dominate the next decade if not longer. Unfortunately, there isn't a "Google" of the energy sector. It's very fragmented across multiple axes - US vs. Worldwide presence, Generation vs. Consumption, Different generation mechanisms (solar, wind, nuclear, etc.). The problem with energy is - it still isn't clear which source will win. Solar logically should - but apparently gets defeated by 24x7 power which nuclear provides. Similarly for others - on the generation side. However, on the consumption side - There is a Google! It's Schneider Electric. No matter which power source wins the generation side, the consumption side will likely be Schneider. Plus! It's huge in the developing parts of the world as well - Asia, Africa, etc.
