View on StockTwits ↗$RIG Transoceans ascending trend line from 3/11/25 @ $2.91 to current prices remains intact despite the manipulation. Chart features '6 high volume/24 hours' green candles over 98M, with most when the merger was announced 2/9/26. Has been some hiccups, but it looks like the merger will probably go thru by Q4 2026.

View on StockTwits ↗$RIG RIG: A Cash Gusher At Marked-Down Price Shares of offshore drilling operator Transocean (RIG) trade around $5.73, having fallen 22% over the last three months. For every dollar an investor parks in the stock at that price, the business hands back 13.7% in annual free cash. Median S&P 500 company offers a free cash flow yield of 4.2%. The market is simultaneously marking down the stock and acknowledging a cash-generating power more than three times the average large company. The question: is this a temporary bargain, or is the market correctly pricing in a future breakdown? A $7.7 billion backlog underpins the cash flow. This level of cash generation is not a one-quarter event. Transocean’s operating margin over the last twelve months was 22%, comfortably ahead of the 18.4% S&P 500 median. The durability of this performance is anchored in the company’s contract backlog, which now stands at over $7 billion, providing significant revenue visibility. https://www.trefis.com/stock/rig/articles-v3/606392/rig-a-cash-gusher-at-a-marked-down-price/2026-07-0

View on StockTwits ↗$RIG the long term charts are so bullish. The improvements to the balance sheet, credit ratings, all bullish. Balance sheet drives cash flow, EBITDA growth. M&A will further reduce expenses. With a global shortage in energy we should see exploration tick up driving higher revenues, utilization rate and day rates. A few quarters, maybe a year, we will get some announcements about buybacks or a dividend. If that all happens this goes to $20+ easily.
View on StockTwits ↗$RIG seems like she’s in heart rate monitor modus 😂 still bullish though
View on StockTwits ↗$RIG remains leveraged to offshore drilling activity, with utilization, day rates, and global energy spending driving its performance. AERT’s revenue grew 43% while SG&A increased only 2%, highlighting meaningful operating leverage.
