Prime Medicine Inc is a biotechnology company focused on developing a new class of genetic medicines designed to provide durable, and potentially curative, treatment options for patients with diseases driven by defined genetic alterations, acquired cellular dysfunction, or dysregulated gene expression. Its program, PM577 for Wilson Disease, is designed to initially correct the H1069Q mutation in the ATP7B gene and is supported by preclinical data showing targeted correction and restoration of copper homeostasis in animal models. In addition, PM647 is being developed for alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, or AATD, another liver targeted disease with substantial unmet need.

$PRME Curious if Optiprime will open more doors for deals near term.
View on StockTwits ↗Raymond James reiterated $MNPR Outperform-$123 and said -- We continue to model ALXN1840 approval and launch in 2027—Remain Outperform rated on MNPR shares following 2Q26 update. $RARE $PRME ETON Vivet Therapeutics - PFE AZN TELO Orphalan Raymond James added—All eyes remain focused on the rolling NDA submission for ALXN1840 in Wilson disease, which was recently initiated in July and the company expects to complete in the coming months. Recall, this allows FDA to receive and begin reviewing specific application sections as they are submitted, but acceptance of the application and PDUFA date assignment cannot occur until the application is complete and fully received. ALXN1840 does have Fast Track designation, which could lead to a shorter review time once the application is complete. We continue to model ALXN1840 approval and launch in 2027.

View on StockTwits ↗$PRME OptiPrime showed extremely encouraging possibilities with the CF program. Probably not going to move the stock much, but this Scientific Development could have a profound impact on Prime. “OptiPrime doubled F508del correction from 11% to 22% after testing only eight AI-selected guides—an optimization that previously took years.” That suggests Prime’s CF program could move faster and require substantially less laboratory screening. But the remaining decisive hurdle is ReCode’s ability to deliver the editor efficiently throughout human airway tissue.
View on StockTwits ↗$PRME Before OptiPrime: DNA target → design lots of pegRNAs → test them experimentally → find one that works With OptiPrime: DNA target → OptiPrime predicts/designs promising pegRNAs → test the best candidates → much faster optimization So basically AI optimization layer for prime editing that'll cut cost & time?
View on StockTwits ↗$PRME Patiently holding what I already have. Will gladly add more lower or higher once theres some clarity on cash runway.
View on StockTwits ↗$PRME the most important player at Prime today may be the CFO, Svetlana Makhni. She was also given the responsibility of Corporate Development. If you look at her background she isn’t just a “bean counter”, she is a dealmaker. She did time at Goldman, BMO and Blackstone.
