Here’s the situation in concrete terms:
1️⃣ The Leases
Petroteq legally owns key SITLA oil sands leases in Utah: specifically ML 47470 and ML 51163. These are the core Asphalt Ridge assets—the reason many of us invested in the first place.
2️⃣ The Structure of Exploitation
While Petroteq holds the title, Valkor LLC currently operates these leases at depth, runs the extraction, and manages projects on-site. This creates a situation where Petroteq owns the land and technology, but Valkor controls day-to-day operations and access to production.
