The fund is designed to allocate a significant portion of its capital, specifically at least 80% of its combined total assets and any borrowed funds used for investment purposes, into equity securities. These investments are exclusively selected from companies that form part of its underlying benchmark index. This specialized index is constructed to include businesses operating in both established and developing global economies. Companies are chosen based on the index provider's assessment that they are either well-positioned to benefit from the worldwide shift towards a lower-carbon economy, or they have committed to verifiable emission reduction goals and can demonstrate a history of decreasing their carbon emissions.
