Its value-added services include the pledging and hypothecation of securities, automated delivery of securities to clearing corporations, distribution of corporate benefits (both cash and non-cash), stock lending facilities, and the dematerialisation of National Savings Certificates (NSC), Kisan Vikas Patras (KVP), and warehouse receipts. The company's digital infrastructure extends to various e-Services. SPEED-e allows demat account holders and clearing members to directly submit instructions online. IDeAS is an internet-based service enabling demat account holders to conveniently access their account balances and transaction histories. STeADY facilitates the electronic delivery of contract notes from brokers to custodians and fund managers. An online interface for depository account validation allows subscribers to verify DP ID, client ID, and PAN details. Lastly, SPICE offers an efficient way to electronically submit instructions based on power of attorney for clients.
