$NLY Just look at today's chart and tell me no games being played here.

View on StockTwits ↗Many people here every day angrily ask why their particular ticker is down. Is it because of world economics? No. Perhaps a short attack? No. Could it possibly be do to a change in interest rates? Again, no. The simple & honest truth of it is that I most likely bought it. When u tick off God as many times as I have here & also in the afterlife, it's His easiest way to zap me. Perhaps I shouldn't of asked Him after my 2nd heart attack if all those fellas playing harps use pronouns he wouldn't of sent me back so quickly. Oh well. The never ending battle continues with THE MIDDAY STOCK MARKET REVIEW ( The I'm in no particular hurry so Heaven can wait Edition ) $NGEN Added more just because I'm a stubborn cuss. $CPB Pretty sure I single handedly knocked them off the S&P 500 but continue to add soup to my bowl. $LKNCY Adding despite China banning me from stepping foot on their soil. $ARDX Maybe something to do with Aardvarks? added more anyway. $NLY Raised divy. adding more with caution.

View on StockTwits ↗$NLY No rate cuts this year. Possible rate hike if inflation don’t cool down. NLY price too high. I bought at 18. Why it’s here I have no idea. If rate cuts would happen then right here is fair.
View on StockTwits ↗$NLY Well the good news is now we have two full 25 basis point rate hikes priced into the market by mid 2027. Personally I believe that is overkill because as gas prices drop, inflation trend should reverse. Problem is there will be lag which only exposes the flaws and how they set rates. Hopefully this should calm down substantially after today.
View on StockTwits ↗$NLY he did say raise rates to curb inflation. Inflation has been holding and that sucks for all of us.
View on StockTwits ↗$NLY Yield Trap noise. Typically the term yield trap is used to describe a stock that has dropped more than the market and now shows a higher dividend % due to falling stock price. When the dividend and % goes up due to an increase in profits and the yield increases in line with that....well that is a different animal completely. If you believe otherwise...please feel free to sell. Be sure to check back in a few months please. 😎
