View on StockTwits ↗$MIND At $4.90 the MC is around $45 m. After Q1 they had stockholders' equity at $42 m (working capital $38 m). In addition to that, they have tax deductions and $5 m property. If we really have "cash flow positive FY27" then I would tie the managements' compensation solely to the development of earnings and stock price and would buy the own stock . Both the shareholders and the management would win big if they succeed. I start to think that our goals are not aligned. If the next quarter is bad, they could easily buy now for $5 m and after the Q another $5 m.
View on StockTwits ↗$MIND The Capt'n - Part 3 (final) please do your own DD. MIND's proprietary GunLink system is a primary industry standard for real-time seismic source acquisition and energy control to capture clear subsurface images. MIND commands a powerful position in this market, making its technology indispensable to major international seismic contractors updating their fleets Precision Subsea Mapping & BuoyLink (relative global navigation satellite positioning) and SeaLink (solid towed seismic streamer) systems, the company provides the absolute positioning and data acquisition hardware required to feed modern 3D/4D seismic MIND strategically focuses its SeaLink systems on shallow-water, ultra-high-resolution imaging. This approach insulates the company from directly competing head-to-head against massive, capital-intensive deepwater providers. Instead, it positions them perfectly for near-shore exploration also they have High-Margin recurring repair services. Yep the Capt'n sleeps well.
View on StockTwits ↗$MIND The Capt'n - Part 2: Finding, appraising, and bringing a new greenfield hydrocarbon deposit (especially complex deep-water or remote onshore fields) to first oil or gas takes anywhere from 3 to 7 years. Therefore, planning for production profiles in the late 2020s and early 2030s requires intensive geophysical exploration now and over the next few years. Beyond brand-new greenfield discoveries, exploration and mapping firms will see high demand for re-imaging legacy basins using advanced 3D/4D seismic and AI-driven data interpretation. This accelerates infill drilling and optimizes recovery in proven, lower-risk domestic fields rather than starting completely from scratch.
View on StockTwits ↗$MIND If you can't follow the current "paper trail" and properly forecast the next moves in exploration and mapping predicated on todays geopolitcal activities perhaps another security or stock may be your best choice. For the Capt'n its pretty clear thats why I am fishing in the gulf. (Part 1) A prolonged conflict involving Iran and persistent disruptions around critical chokepoints like the Strait of Hormuz have drastically thinned global supply cushions. With the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) hitting multi-decade lows—driven down by coordinated international releases and heavy domestic and commercial draws—energy security has become a primary geopolitical priority.
View on StockTwits ↗$MIND There would be chance for shareholders activism if we would want to. Do we?
