View on StockTwits ↗Moody’s upgraded McGraw Hill’s corporate family rating to B1 from B2 and revised its outlook to stable from positive, citing expectations for steady revenue and cash flow growth over the next two years. The agency also raised several debt ratings after the education publisher reduced leverage and strengthened its balance sheet following its July 2025 IPO. McGraw Hill has repaid $646 million in debt since going public, lowering leverage to 4.3x as of March 2026 from 5.1x pre-IPO. Moody’s expects continued debt reduction, supported by low-to-mid single-digit revenue growth and stronger earnings from its K-12 business as major curriculum adoption cycles in California, Florida, and Texas drive demand for math and reading materials over the next two years. The ratings agency noted that McGraw Hill still faces challenges, including elevated leverage, seasonal cash flow, intense competition, pricing pressure in higher education, and enrollment-related cyclicality. $MH

View on StockTwits ↗McGraw Hill shares gained in after-hours trading Tuesday after CEO and Chairman Philip D. Moyer reported a sizable insider purchase, a move often interpreted by investors as a sign of management confidence in the company's outlook. According to an SEC Form 4 filing, Moyer acquired 22,421 common shares on June 15, 2026, at a weighted average price of $11.12 per share through multiple transactions executed at prices ranging from $11.12 to $11.1499. Following the purchase, his direct stake in McGraw Hill increased to 516,768 shares. Insider purchases by senior executives tend to attract market attention because they may indicate that management views the stock as undervalued or expects favorable business performance ahead. Moyer also stated that he would provide full details of the transactions to the company, shareholders, or the SEC upon request. $MH
