View on StockTwits ↗Low-budget horror is quietly saving theaters, and $MCS could be heading into a Q2 earnings inflection! Key growth drivers: Strong Q2 box office performance 《Obsession》 exceeding expectations 《Backrooms》 creating high-margin revenue Margin expansion from low-cost content The market may be underestimating the recovery in theaters and the shift toward profitable content models. $MCS is now at the intersection of improving fundamentals and technical recovery. Watch volume expansion and key resistance levels for confirmation. Charts tell the story before headlines do.
View on StockTwits ↗Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey opens this weekend with projected global box office revenue of around $200 million, potentially marking his biggest debut since The Dark Knight Rises. The film is providing a major catalyst for theater stocks, particularly IMAX, as it is the first feature shot entirely with 70mm IMAX cameras. With only 41 theaters worldwide capable of screening it in its native format, demand has already sold out some showings through the fifth week. The movie is expected to generate $90-$100 million domestically across 3,900 North American theaters, benefiting major exhibitors. AMC recently received an analyst upgrade on improving industry fundamentals, while Marcus and Cinemark are also positioned to capitalize on stronger box office trends. The 2026 summer season is on track to become the strongest since 2019, supported by a recovery in film production. $IMAX $AMC $MCS $CNK

View on StockTwits ↗$MCS Marcus Corp cinema & hotel chain. Feb 2027 price target when we entered the trade in Oct 2025 was $24 which represented an 89% opportunity from the low. #MCS is ALMOST at the target already, well ahead of schedule but smacking into the supply zone of resistance set back in Dec 2024, between $22 and $23. A breakout above $23 on great Q2 box office could be quite interesting for MCS. A rejection here means maybe a longer wait to push up further. I have two buys on this stock, one at $13.95 and added about a month ago at $17.81 based on management guidance on the earnings call.

View on StockTwits ↗$AMC will $CNK earnings and stock price movement today predict what amc will do next week? $MCS showed first quarter improvement but their stock dropped over 7% yesterday. Still think AMC will make a run over 2 bucks in May but all of these predictions of super high squeeze prices is looking less and less likely Hopefully it does squeeze and proves me wrong... Good luck to everyone who is hoping AMC is going up!
