The Lazard Emerging Markets Equity Portfolio primarily allocates its capital to equity holdings, specifically common shares, of businesses operating predominantly in developing economies outside the U.S. The Investment Manager targets companies believed to be trading below their intrinsic worth, a determination made through analysis of their profitability, cash generation, or underlying asset values. Typically, at least 80% of the fund's assets are dedicated to equity securities of companies with substantial operations in emerging market countries during normal market conditions.
