View on StockTwits ↗$LEG merger arbitrage delivered a solid result with a 14% return in just 11 days. A definitive agreement has been reached, leaving only a 3% spread. It makes sense to close out the position now. Regulatory risk is a factor, and the offer likely won’t be raised (the exchange ratio was already adjusted).👇
View on StockTwits ↗$LEG The new deal with LEG is okay-isch provided $SGI goes back over 85+ upon completion 🤔.
View on StockTwits ↗$SGI is buying $LEG in a $2.5B stock deal to cut costs, grow faster, and expand beyond mattresses. https://notreload.xyz/somnigroup-buys-leggett-platt-in-all-stock-deal/
View on StockTwits ↗$LEG Was hoping for more but I am happy with 15 percent for 3 weeks.
View on StockTwits ↗$LEG so we waited for 11.45 ish instead of 12…even if SGI goes to all time high, it’s only $14ish…not thrilled about this, but at least it’s over…

View on StockTwits ↗$LEG I don't know why there is so little interest in this. It looks like either they justify a higher valuation or the buyout goes thru at 12 dollars or Somnigroup International can attempt a hostile take over and start buying shares on the open market. I think it is highly likely as Vanguard and Blackrock have added to their positions that the buyout will be above 12 dollars but even if it isn't, this represents a gain of 25 percent at today's prices. Not bad since the deadline is July 20.
