Under normal market conditions, this fund primarily pursues its investment objectives by allocating a minimum of 80% of its net assets, along with any borrowed capital for investment, to securities issued by companies or entities based outside the United States. Its portfolio typically comprises 30 to 50 securities from a diverse array of international countries, specifically excluding U.S. issuers. However, in extraordinary circumstances, the fund maintains the flexibility to concentrate nearly all its holdings within a single foreign nation. A maximum of 20% of its net assets, measured at the point of purchase, may also be invested in U.S.-domiciled companies.
