That means that they obtain funds based on the management of the 'blank check' company and the belief that they will find a viable candidate

AMOD "engages in creating, developing and licensing data driven technologies to enhance consumers in store experience at the point of decision" (This is from 'about alpha modus' in today's press release)
They are also actively defending their patents in suing some major retail operations for infringement
