Illumina provides tools and services to analyze genetic material with life science and clinical lab applications. The company generates over 90% of its revenue from sequencing instruments, consumables, and services. Illumina's high-throughput technology enables whole genome sequencing in humans and other large organisms. Its lower throughput tools enable applications that require smaller data outputs, such as viral and cancer tumor screening. Illumina also sells microarrays (9% of 2024 sales) that enable lower-cost, focused genetic screening with primarily consumer and agricultural applications.

View on StockTwits ↗$PACB moving today looks bigger than just a chart bounce long-read HiFi sequencing is becoming more important for rare disease, cancer, AI biology data, and complex genome discovery. With Revio/Vega upgrades, lower genome-cost goals, and big dataset collaborations, PacBio could be one of those quiet bio-platform plays that wakes up fast if adoption accelerates. High risk, but very unique upside story. $ILMN $CRSP $NVDA
View on StockTwits ↗Precision medicine starts with better genomic data. That’s why $PACB, $ILMN, and $CRSP remain worth watching as the field evolves.
View on StockTwits ↗$ILMN Late to the turn here but adding today. Had a frustrating 140s entry earlier this year where it dropped all the way to 114s by mid-Feb. I was then happy to get out breakeven. But as so often happens, what you saw when you first bought eventually plays out, just later than you were hoping for.

View on StockTwits ↗$PSNL is starting to look like it’s coiling for a larger directional move after building out a clean cup-and-handle structure. Price action today was strong with a +13% finish, showing buyers are stepping in with conviction rather than just passive bounce behavior. What makes this more interesting is the sector backdrop- genomics / biotech tools space is seeing broad strength across names like $TWST, $GH, $ILMN, and $TEM, which adds a tailwind to momentum continuation. When you combine a technical base + rising relative strength + hot sector flow, breakouts tend to accelerate faster than expected once prior highs are cleared. Key watch: whether this base resolves upward with volume expansion or fades back into consolidation.
