The fund's primary objective is to generate substantial long-term capital growth for its investors. To achieve this, the fund manager allocates capital across a diversified portfolio that includes U.S. common stocks of varying market capitalizations, investments in pooled vehicles such as mutual funds, closed-end funds, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs), as well as holdings in cash, highly liquid instruments, and derivative contracts like put and call options. In periods of reduced market exposure, the fund strategically deploys assets into cash, cash equivalents, and/or put options, aiming to safeguard existing equity positions and dampen overall portfolio volatility. The asset allocation is highly flexible, allowing for investments ranging from 0% to 100% in equities, and similarly, 0% to 100% in cash, cash equivalents, and options.
