This week’s international board had one very loud message: ➡️ China innovation: $KSTR ➡️ China growth: $CNXT ➡️ China small caps: $ASHS ➡️ South Korea broad exposure: $FLKR ➡️ Global IPO growth: $FPXI The global rally did not show up everywhere equally, but it did show up where investors could get direct exposure to Asia’s growth, hardware, innovation, and newer-public-company stories. View on StockTwits ↗3️⃣ $FLKR — Franklin FTSE South Korea ETF 📈 5D Return: +6.20% 💸 Expense Ratio: 0.09% Then South Korea walked in and reminded everyone it has a serious seat at the global hardware table. $FLKR tracks large- and mid-cap South Korean stocks, giving investors a broad way to follow one of Asia’s most important technology and industrial markets. China owned the podium this week. Korea still made sure the room noticed. (4/7)
View on StockTwits ↗The international screen had a very specific message this week: Indonesia bounced hard. South Korea kept riding the chips/AI/reform wave. Top 5 by 5D return: $IDX: +18.31% $EIDO: +17.69% $MKOR: +15.27% $EWY: +13.90% $FLKR: +13.86% Not *exactly* a world tour. More like Asia-Pacific grabbed the aux cord and refused to give it back. View on StockTwits ↗4️⃣ $EWY — iShares MSCI South Korea ETF 📊 5D Return: +13.90% 💰 Net Flow: +$37.45M 📈 Organic Growth: +0.16% 💵 Assets: $23.37B 5️⃣ $FLKR — Franklin FTSE South Korea ETF 📊 5D Return: +13.86% 💵 Assets: $1.03B Two more Korea ETFs landed right behind $MKOR. That matters because this was not just one active fund having a moment. Broad Korea exposure showed up too. (5/6)
View on StockTwits ↗$FLKR https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/other/korea-roils-markets-by-floating-citizen-dividend-from-ai-tax/ar-AA22XhuE That rattled Korean markets overnight.
View on StockTwits ↗$FLKR I am cashing out my short-term trade profits. I had a nice run in the last month. I can see this recovering again; however, it's rise within the last month was incredible, and alarming. I sense profit taking is occurring, but there are broader concerns now. Samsung has had a great run, but is that sustainable? Then there are political elements towards them and other hot stocks that caused the flash crash in Korea. Things probably need to cool off and stabilize for a bit.
View on StockTwits ↗I don't like this move with $FLKR. That said, it has been good, and sadly it's likely oversold today if we based things on how the Korean market is doing. While I am tempted to cash out my gains, again, but I think I will hold unless it heads near a 10% drop today. FYI, I had this ETF during it's rise earlier in the year, then cash out my gains early in the Iran war and waited for things to show strength again in April. Caught it well again, but this market has shown it will cash out fast and flatline for a couple months.
View on StockTwits ↗$FLKR This need options leaps. Once KOSPI accepts foreign access this goes triple digit imo.
View on StockTwits ↗This is just what Ive been waiting for. Im in on Monday. And first. The alt to this for me has been $FLKR - but I like this more. SK Hynix potential US listing is exciting too.
