Fidelity National Information Services provides core processing and ancillary services to banks, but its business has expanded over time. By acquiring SunGard in 2015, the company now provides record-keeping and other services to investment firms. In a recent deal with Global Payments, FIS sold off its remaining interest in Worldpay and acquired Global Payment's issuer processing business.

View on StockTwits ↗Imagine buying $FIS at its peak, only to watch it crash 40%, and then finding out you may still have a chance to recover some of your losses. To all $FIS investors: there's a $210 million investor settlement, and late claims are currently being considered. If you purchased shares between 2020 and 2023, you may still be eligible to participate. You can check your eligibility and submit a late claim here: https://11th.com/cases/fis-investors-lawsuit

But it does create a very interesting question: Which companies are facing temporary problems — and which ones have genuinely broken fundamentals? Big drawdowns can create some of the best opportunities when sentiment gets disconnected from long-term business performance. I’m watching the names where valuation, fundamentals, and future growth could start aligning again. Which one would you consider buying after this selloff?
