This investment product aims to achieve daily financial outcomes, before any associated fees and costs, that move in the opposite direction and at three times the magnitude (-3x) of the daily performance of the S&P Financial Select Sector Index. To accomplish this, the fund utilizes various financial instruments, which ProShare Advisors believes, when combined, should consistently deliver returns aligned with this objective. The S&P Financial Select Sector Index itself measures the performance of companies belonging to the financial industry group within the larger S&P 500 Index. Notably, this particular fund is characterized as non-diversified.
