Viant Technology Inc is an advertising technology company engaged in providing a cloud-based demand-side platform (DSP) for programmatic advertising. The company enables marketers and advertising agencies to plan, buy, and measure digital advertising campaigns across multiple channels, including connected TV, streaming audio, mobile, desktop, and digital out-of-home. Its platform leverages data integrations and proprietary identity solutions to deliver targeted advertising, audience insights, and performance measurement.

$DSP For those out there who don’t understand the business (red): (part 1)) * Revenue +34% YoY to $104.3M — and +18% sequentially. This is probably the headline number. Growth actually accelerated from +25% in Q1 to +34% in Q2, a 900-basis-point acceleration. * CTV advertiser spend +nearly 50% YoY. This is especially important because CTV now represents more than 50% of total advertiser spend on Viant’s platform. In other words, its biggest strategic market is also growing dramatically faster than the overall company. * Contribution ex-TAC +24% YoY to $60.2M — and +20% sequentially. Even better, this growth rate accelerated from 18% in Q1 → 24% in Q2. That’s evidence that the revenue acceleration isn’t merely an accounting/TAC phenomenon. * Adjusted EBITDA +26% YoY and +46% sequentially to $14.2M. This is a major piece of the investment story: Viant isn’t buying its 34% growth by destroying profitability. EBITDA is growing right alongside the business.
View on StockTwits ↗$DSP there’s absolutely no reason for this to be down … it’s gonna be very bad for all the shorts that’s doing it. That’s OK cause shorted down. I’m gonna buy some more.
View on StockTwits ↗$DSP This market is so weird. I feel like it's not even about good product and financials. Feels like the price is just at the whims of market manipulation.
View on StockTwits ↗$DSP What a load of 💩… spectacular ER and they are dumping shares to drive out the weak hands before loading up. Same as it ever was…
View on StockTwits ↗$DSP Anyone care to explain why this is dropping this morning? Earnings was good, analysts upgraded PTs. This doesn't make sense.

View on StockTwits ↗$DSP Sea change report for Viant. This should move upwards meaningfully tomorrow.
View on StockTwits ↗@MicroCapRockets I simply don’t buy the narrative that they are winning from TTD. They are highly concentrated with a few clients and have 15% of the revenue that TTD has. It’s not hard to grow revenue at these numbers… thr bigger question is can they keep the trajectory. Q3 is already forecasted slower growth than q2. $DSP will have the same issues competing against amazon and google, and they have less of a moat with no real exclusive inventory or partnership. Short term, might be ok.. but no real long term story here.
View on StockTwits ↗$DSP After listening in on the earnings call, my takeaway was Q2 was a legit inflection quarter, not just a beat. Rev +34% YoY (above high end of guide), accelerating from 25% in Q1. Contribution ex-TAC +24%, also accelerating. Non-GAAP EPS +50% YoY to $0.15 - the GAAP EPS "miss" was just SBC/M&A noise, not an earnings problem. CTV is doing the heavy lifting: Direct Access hit 80%+ of CTV spend (from 50% last quarter), saving ~35% on CPMs. TVision pilots already show a 1.4x avg lift across 42 campaigns. The real alpha: mgmt says agency friction with Trade Desk is shifting budgets and RFPs to Viant. TTD guided to a 12% decline; Viant just posted 34% growth. That's share capture, not macro. TVision's ~150-200bps EBITDA margin drag is known and temporary. Q3 guide raised again: rev +27%, EBITDA margin to 29%. This is the kind of print that gets analysts to raise numbers, not just reiterate Buys. Expect real PT increases across the covering list.
View on StockTwits ↗$DSP Q2: Rev +34% YoY (beat high end of guide), Contribution ex-TAC +24%. CTV Direct Access jumped to 80%+ of CTV spend (from 50% in Q1) the core growth engine is inflecting. Q3 guide raised, margin target 28-29%. I think it should nudge PTs modestly higher. Drag: GAAP net loss (-$1.8M) on higher SBC/M&A costs, not a real earnings power issue.
