$DHT opened a position a few days ago - management has executed well and people are overestimating the downside and underestimating the upside on DHT.
View on StockTwits ↗$DHT I would like to know who was selling yesterday, who was selling in overnight trading , and who is selling this morning, On the flip side who was buying shares in overnight trading, and who besides me, was buying after the open today. It's all the oil tanker stocks, not just DHT, but I just am buying DHT today. I noticed there was an insider sale in DHT, the employee held the shares for six years, worth over 500k in sales.
View on StockTwits ↗$DHT We managed to secure around 102 revenue days at an average rate of $253,880/day somewhere in the last couple of weeks. This is based on the difference between the business update from mid-July, where management reported 74% of Q3 revenue days (2049 days) had been booked at an average rate of $94,300/day, and the Q2 earnings report from last week, where these figures had risen to 79% and $104,400/day. Now if we manage to book the entire remainder of the current quarter at such high rates, ordinary net income / dividend per share could beat that of Q2 and approach $1.40. The floor of my estimate is $1.00, which assumes an average rate of $110,000/day for the remainder of the quarter. This should be easily achievable. But unless rates seriously take off from here, I think we'll land somewhere between $1.10 and $1.30.
View on StockTwits ↗$DHT Here is the transcript from our Q2 earnings call. Highly recommend reading as it's the CEO and CFO giving their thoughts and insights into the record quarter and the future quarters. I thought it was a good call and the company is looking to keep the momentum going through the rest of the year at least. Some nice weekend reading heading into next week. https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/DHT/earnings/DHT-Q2-2026-earnings_call-661343.html
View on StockTwits ↗$FRO $DHT Reserve Replacements & Ton-Mile Shifts. Due to persistent Middle Eastern chokepoint fragility, international upstream capital is increasingly targeting non-OPEC reserve replacements.Long-Haul Expansion: Supply growth in 2026 is heavily concentrated west of Suez—predominantly out of Brazil, Guyana, the US, and Canada.Ton-Mile Amplification: Moving these Atlantic Basin barrels to major refining hubs in Asia takes significantly longer than shipping from the Persian Gulf, structurally expanding global VLCC ton-mile demand.Fleet Supply Crises: This ton-mile expansion hits an exceptionally tight vessel supply, as 44% of the global VLCC fleet is now older than 15 years old Utilization Support: According to market assessments by Tankers International and major shipping analysts, these structural shifts are projected to push global VLCC fleet utilization to 92% in late 2026, preventing a total collapse in freight rates even if the Hormuz corridor safely reopens.
View on StockTwits ↗$DHT 1. The company had the best quarter EVER. 2. Dividend is $1.22 for Q2. 3. The future is looking good here. I am hoping for a repricing of DHT shares to reflect the fair value. So not only dividend income but share price appreciation.
View on StockTwits ↗$FRO $DHT If the Strait of Hormuz were opened today, it could still take up to 18 months to replenish depleted inventories, Amin Nasser, the chief executive of the world’s largest oil producer Saudi Aramco, said Tuesday. For every day there is no agreement, some 15 million barrels of crude oil are not travelling through the narrow waterway to world markets.
View on StockTwits ↗$DHT Got what we expected- an excellent quarter with multiple record metrics reached. While the numbers are stellar, management seems to think that rates will regress slightly from what they were able to take advantage of during Q2. While rates may have peaked, management (and I) believes they will be at an elevated level still for the foreseeable future. This supports the future quarters well as it can stabilize at a higher rate and create a dividend floor essentially. I think its possible that we get quarterly distributions of a dollar (minimum!) in the future quarters and would love to hear thoughts and opinions on this.
View on StockTwits ↗$DHT "Furthermore, net profit for the first six months of 2026 exceeded the Company’s previous record full-year result of $266.3 million achieved in 2020, marking a new earnings milestone in DHT’s history." What a great stock. Not wasting geopolitically driven record revenues on foolish acquisitions (hello Pfizer), or lavishing stock rewards on the executives, but giving it back to shareholders, roughly 7% for the quarter! 3Q won't be as good as 2Q, but it will likely still be the 2nd best quarter in company history. Cumulative dividends paid out in 2026 alone might just about pay for each share bought in the dark days of 2022.

View on StockTwits ↗$DHT The short percentage isn't high enough for a real juicy squeeze, but it's enough, if those short start to buy back, to cover, it will boost the share price higher than just bulls buying. So all that negative energy ends up boosting the shares for those that held on, which was most, but certainly not all.
