$CLFD Lots of AI generated crap circulates out there but this write-up is good. In fact, I would say spot on. Bullish but balanced. https://disruptorinvesting.com/daily-disruptor-clfd-the-fiber-company-that-just-won-its-first-hyperscale-data-center-order/

View on StockTwits ↗$CLFD Much nicer than that 26 a few days ago. Maybe 30 coming soon. Still averaging in here.
View on StockTwits ↗$CLFD From Adtran's q2 EC "As we communicated in our preliminary results press release, a project delay from a single customer, combined with unfavorable impacts from product and customer mix, caused our results to fall short of our guidance. Despite these factors, demand across our end markets remains healthy. Our strategic priorities remain on track, and our customer base continues to diversify. We believe those underlying fundamentals position us well as we look ahead into 2027. As we shared in our pre-announcement, one of our customers adjusted the timing of a project, which affected our results for the quarter. This customer remains committed to its deployment objectives, and we view this as a timing adjustment rather than a change in demand." Sound familiar? Maybe it is less about clearfield's lack of execution and more to do with current industry headwinds in the FTTH market.

View on StockTwits ↗$CLFD I checked with my former company a while back to see if they were going to go for BEAD funds. I once headed up a massive to obtain similar government funding. They told me they determined the slim odds of getting funding was not worth the insane amount of resources and time necessary to prepare a bid. I whole heartedly agree. It became quickly obvious to me that the people running BEAD were clueless regarding the process. As time went on and the administration stumbled and bumbled their way through one delay and mistep after another it was painfully obvious that this was government hackarama at its finest. As a result each stakeholder got porked along the way... A classic example of what happens when the government, which has no skin in the game, makes the rules and decides winners and losers... Meanwhile my old company's fiber business is kicking it without government assistance.

View on StockTwits ↗$CLFD Clearfield’s VoltServer partnership is interesting. It looks like their digital electricity platform is gaining popularity in the data center space. Some of VoltServers partnerships stand out. Last month Eaton Energy and VoltServer signed a strategic partnership to advance next gen power distribution. At that time, Eaton also made a $5MM strategic equity investment in VoltServer. Eaton is a $35B company and is the 800lb gorilla in terms of power and thermal management in the Hyperscale data center space. Their power solutions are in the data centers of Meta, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Cyrus One and others. Voltserver also has a partnerships with Southwire, a $10B company who is the leading wire and cabling provider for hypercale data centers in North America. Southwire is the 800lb gorilla in the wire and cable space. Now Clearfield and their Nova platform have entered into a partnership with Voltserver. They are rubbing elbows with some real heavyweights here. Hmmmm…
View on StockTwits ↗$CLFD Clearfield had its price objective dropped by Needham & Company LLC from $52.00 to $40.00 in a research note issued to investors on Thursday. The brokerage currently has a "buy" rating on the communications equipment provider's stock. Ryan koontz from Needham was the only person on the call. We shall see if Northland, Roth or Lake street decide to weigh in.

View on StockTwits ↗$CLFD EV/revenue now at 1.37 using the low end of 2026 guidance. Bottom of the barrel valuation despite the strong balance sheet. Cheap or fools gold?
