View on StockTwits ↗$CBSTF On March 24, 2026, the company (and its Canadian holding entity) filed voluntary proceedings under Canada's Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA) - Canada's version of Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. They also plan to seek U.S. recognition via Chapter 15 in Delaware bankruptcy court to protect their U.S. operations. This was paired with big asset sale deals to raise cash and pay down massive debt (they have senior secured notes due in 2028) Ohio assets sold to Holistic Industries for ~$47 million (expected close Q3 2026). -Delaware assets sold to Parma Holdco for ~$16.5 million (expected close Q2 2026). -Non-binding deal in the works for the rest of their markets (Illinois, New Jersey, Colorado, Massachusetts, Maryland, West Virginia). -They already closed a Virginia sale earlier (Feb 2026) for $130 million and used proceeds to redeem some of those notes. http://investors.cannabistcompany.com Never Financial Advice
