China’s BYD shatters world record for FASTEST production car — and it’s fully electric The U9 Xtreme EV hit a verified top speed of 496 km/h (308 mph) — officially dethroning the Bugatti Chiron $TSLA $BYDIF $BYDDF
View on StockTwits ↗It is not yet confirmed with certainty, but there are clear signs that $BYDIF is seriously considering producing batteries in Europe. Alfredo Altavilla (special adviser to BYD for Europe) stated that “it makes no sense to invest in car assembly in Europe if you bring the batteries from China.” He therefore indicated that BYD sees a battery plant in Europe as necessary, not just factories for vehicle assembly. BYD already has a plant in Hungary, expected to start operations at the end of 2025. Another one will open in Turkey in 2026, expanding vehicle production. The company is also considering a third European facility, though it has not yet decided whether it will be dedicated solely to cars or also include batteries. Altavilla stressed that energy costs are crucial for both cars and batteries, given how energy-intensive battery production is. ⸻ http://matricini.it/easyinvest

View on StockTwits ↗$AMZN $NVDA $TSLA $NIO $BYDIF for these who do say, that foreign companies cant compete which Chinas companies. Chineese dropped the prices provided by governments subventions, they made not only for foreign companies a huge damage, but also for their own. I do see that on Aliexpress when i order smthg prices for some products are below of their production costs. They are absolutely governments subvented, china drops own prices - lower loans for workers to expect, people get more poor in China. That is the price of the blind production: cars, flats, entire empty cities. Who will pay the bill? Now for making some makeup Chinas government pushes tons of printed money into the own stock market to repeat the U.S. "wonder". This cant end well on long distance. Bubbles do burst.
