$BSTZ Where you at, Ali G? Impressive run up on this one, no? Hoping that $30 is the new floor. And that Databricks goes public in 2027.
View on StockTwits ↗$BSTZ Shame to see this crash so hard over the past three days. Especially since I bought 5,000 more shares @ $28 on Monday! But, the semi-conductors are in correction mode (Thanks SK Hynix!), and most tech funds are getting dragged down with them. Just remember, BSTZ does not have positions in the current Mag-7. It's trying to identify and invest in the NEXT Mag-7! Go Tony Kim!
View on StockTwits ↗$BSTZ $BST it’s obvious (to me at least ) that only these two were “chosen” for “special distribution” announcement PR is because they are the only two CEFs that are close to the 10% discount threshold that would force BlackRock to buy 5% of outstanding shares if the discounts were to continue for the 9 month lookback. Trust me, the board does NOT want to do that. So they pre announce this “special distribution” not payable until September to try and narrow the discounts. Retail loves special distributions so it will likely work. $BTX has an almost identical portfolio as these two BUT this CEF does NOT have the discount management program which is obviously why they are not going to offer any “special distribution”
View on StockTwits ↗$BSTZ Y'all know that semiconductors and memory are zooming higher, but software is lagging right now. That's probably hurting sentiment towards Databricks, which is BSTZ's top holding. As a result, we have been punished over the past few trading sessions. Not to worry! Rotation back into software will happen later this year, or in 2027, when Databricks will finally go public.
View on StockTwits ↗$BSTZ never like to see after hours pump. Usually short term bearish
View on StockTwits ↗$BSTZ Live by the sword, die by the sword. Oh, yeah. The sword is AI.
View on StockTwits ↗$BSTZ No volume today. SpaceX is sucking all of the oxygen out of the room. Patience, BSTZ believers!
View on StockTwits ↗$BSTZ Well, I didn't see this until now, but it looks like the CEO of Databricks will postpone their IPO until next year (2027). He doesn't like the frothy and crowded atmosphere in the IPO market right now, with SpaceX, Anthropic, and Open AI all going public this year. He also said that he wants to go public with an EV of $165B. As of the last capital raise in December 2025, the firm was valued at $134B. So, there is more work to do. But, BSTZ has a large stake in Databricks, with 10% of the porfolio invested in the preferred shares, and 2.9% in the common shares. Hold on tight, my BSTZ Bruddahs! https://share.google/P4csDSxbQFc5mOrRF

View on StockTwits ↗$BSTZ Brutal day, my BSTZ peeps. Looks like we have an AI sell-off! Data centers being canceled or postponed. Chips in the gutter. But, considering the recent ripping run up, some correction is probably a good thing. Time to take a breather? I think so.
