The fund's primary objective is to generate capital appreciation for its investors by predominantly allocating its resources to common stocks. Typically, a minimum of 80% of its net assets (including any leveraged capital for investment) is dedicated to shares issued by U.S.-based enterprises. Its portfolio focuses on mid- and large-market capitalization firms that, in the Adviser's view, have not only demonstrated superior historical earnings expansion but also possess strong potential for sustained, above-average growth in the future. For the purpose of this fund, mid- and large-cap companies are generally defined as those with a market value exceeding $2 billion at the time of investment.
