$BBW So, a 13G dropped today showing Paradigm Capital Management Inc. (NY) currently have voting power over 984,500.00 shares representing 7.9% of the float. Went to WhaleWisdom and they are not there... at all... at this moment. Are they a brand new holder and, if so, what does that mean about their faith in this company. Something for all to ponder, imho.
View on StockTwits ↗@Stocktrader3546 you think this is wild, $BBW was on a crazy run for a long time
View on StockTwits ↗$BBW someone make a meme about how BBW‘s (big black women) have a lot of squeeze potential just like this stock. Tie it all together put a fucking bowtie on it give it to Wall Street bets and let’s go to the moon.
View on StockTwits ↗$BBW such low volume - how 3m shares ever even got short this is astounding, and even more so given it is a growing deep value stock Shares ~12.5m, top 10 shareholders ~7m so say free float is ~5.6m. ~60% of share float is sold short - so pretty much most of any given days trading is shorts trading amongst themselves Stock now up ~18% from the bottom and the pain tolerance is only so high
View on StockTwits ↗@WallStreetScout1 $BBW so does have a short term play as well as shorts haven’t really covered, but I am in it for the long haul
View on StockTwits ↗Capital Rotation! 3 Resilient Consumer Stocks Standing Strong As high-beta AI names sell off, smart money is rotating into quality consumer businesses with strong cash flows and solid balance sheets: $PLNT (Planet Fitness): 2,900+ locations. Q1 revenue hit $337.2M (+21.9% YoY) with 80%+ gross margins. High-margin franchise model remains a cash machine. $BBW (Build-A-Bear): Highly overlooked. TTM revenue of ~$527M, ~36% ROE, and trading at just ~8x earnings with active buybacks. $TCOM (Trip.com): Q1 revenue hit RMB 16.2B (+17% YoY), with international bookings up 65%. Loaded with ~$15B in cash. These aren't hyped-up momentum plays, but highly defensive champions with multiple growth drivers.
